Facebook Login
What is it The ‘Login with Facebook’ option on
It is possible to login to using authentification from Facebook.
This makes it even easier to create a vidpit member account.
Just click ‘Login with Facebook’ button on the login form to connect your Facebook account with vidpit.
Then you can start adding and sharing videos right away as a fully authenticated member, and it’s not necessary to validate your email address through vidpit system.
When Loging in with Facebook you don't have to write your email and password.
If you are an existing member, you can start using one-click-login when you click on the button ‘Login with Facebook’ on login form.

How does log-in with facebook works?
Here’s how to connect your Facebook account with

1. Click on ‘Login with Facebook’ on the right top sidebar of the site.
2. If you are not yet connected to facebook, you will be asked by Facebook to enter the email address and password which you normally use for Facebook.
3. You will then be asked if you allow your basic member info which you provided to Facebook (e.g. name, email address) to be given to vidpit. (we can only access this particular info – cannot access any other data which you have stored at Facebook).

If your email address for your Facebook account is already attached to an existing vidpit member account, you will be asked to confirm the connection by entering the password for your vidpit member account.

If your email address for your Facebook account is not already attached to an existing vidpit member account, you have two options to choose from:
A. register with the normal vidpit form.

What information is exchanged between vidpit and Facebook?
vidpit will recieve from Facebook, only once - and only with your agreement, the basic information like: name and email address. In accordance with our privacy Policy, vidpit will not pass on any of your personal data to Facebook.

Can my friends on Facebook see what I share, rate or add to site? 
No, in accordance with our privacy Policy,we will never give out information regarding a member’s account without that member’s prior agreement. Your Facebook friends will only find out about something you do if you actively decide to tell them.

What happens if I subsequently change my login info (name, email address, password) at Facebook? Will I still be able to login to vidpit, and if so, how?
you can still login to your vidpit account via the ‘Login with Facebook’ button. Or you can use the regular log-in form with your email address which you formerly registered at Facebook, and a password.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act.
We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by sending us a mail.
